You may know me by Christina Elizabeth or Kiki416. I have a blog you might have read already titled, Mine & Mine Only, which is a blog about different rants and raves of the times.
This is a different side of me. Some might think, even a more personal side. You may know me, but you may not know that I have diabetes. Diagnosed at the age of 7, I’ve been through many different experiences and I decided, after meeting many people with diabetes who either don’t know or don’t know enough to care about themselves, that I should share them with you.
Unlike many people who are developing diabetes right now, I have Type I diabetes, also known as Diabetes Mellitus or juvenile Diabetes. As opposed to people who are resistant to insulin, my body doesn’t produce any. That’s a blog post in itself and one for another time.
